Think Visual Meetups are monthly in-person events for professionals in any industry looking to expand their visual communication toolkit and be inspired by meaningful stories about the power of creativity and visual storytelling.

NOTE: For this Think Visual Meetup, receive a briefing on how to use visual thinking skills for rapid prototyping. Then, to apply these skills at the Houston Hackathon running  12 PM Friday, Sept. 5th, through Sunday, Sept. 7th.

SPEAKER

Thomas Watkins is a design psychologist based in Houston who has spent years applying behavioral science principles to the creation of digital products. Thomas will share lessons learned from designing products across industries — energy, education, and retail — and has always sought a deeper understanding of human psychology.

MATERIALS

Peter Durand is an artist, educator & visual facilitator based in Houston, Texas.

He is the founder of Alphachimp LLC, a visual facilitation company that helps clients understand and communicate complex systems visually. He is a leader in graphic facilitation and a professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
