Flavors of Graphic Recording

HOSTS: Impact Hub Houston

DATE: July 11, 2025 from 11am-12:00pm (let's grab lunch together after!)

Think Visual Meetups are monthly in-person events for professionals in any industry looking to expand their visual communication toolkit and be inspired by meaningful stories about the power of creativity and visual storytelling.

In our inaugural Think Visual Meetup, we will explore the art and practice of "graphic recording” through the eyes of seasoned Facilitator and Graphic Recorder Peter Durand, who is celebrating 30 years of experience in this field.

He will be answering questions such as:

  • How do organizations utilize graphic recording for strategic planning, product innovation, community building, and visual thinking?

  • What are some different practitioners around the globe?

  • What are the different styles and tools used?

MATERIALS

Some drawing materials are provided, so bring a sketchbook, iPad, or other drawing tools to capture ideas and make them visual as well! See Peter's personal sketchbook with visual notes from other Houston meetups: https://www.alphachimp.com/sketchnotes
